A spinoff of one of the Lowcountry’s most popular local music events is coming to the north area this May. The Green Barn Jam at Carnes Crossroads will use our historic Green Barn as a scenic backdrop for a family-friendly event series showcasing original music from local singer-songwriters along with delicious food from local food trucks, beer, wine and other beverages, and games and activities for all. The first concert will take place on Sunday, May 19 from 3:30 – 7:30 pm.
The musical line-up for the first Green Barn Jam will feature American Fusion musician Fleming Moore (performing starting at 3:30 pm), bluegrass music from The Pluff Mud String Band (performing starting at 4:10 pm) and Summerville’s Mike Freund Band (performing starting at 5:45 pm).
Advance tickets are available now for $10 each and may be purchased online or in person at the Carnes Crossroads Information Center (513 Wodin Place). Tickets will be available for $15 each at the door on the day of the event.
