Explore Summerville on the New Lowcountry Loop Trolley
February 25, 2015 | Charleston Region
Carnes Crossroads residents are buzzing about a new transportation service that is designed to help area residents and visitors explore the many shopping, dining and recreational opportunities in Summerville and beyond. Lowcountry Loop Trolley, which last year announced it would be investing more than $1.3 million to expand its “hop on, hop off” trolley service, has added a Summerville area loop.
The Summerville loop includes stops at shops, restaurants and attractions in Summerville, along with Magnolia Plantation and Middleton Place. A daily pass gets you unlimited hop-on, hop-off access all day long, as well as access to the company’s two other area trolleys that make stops at attractions in Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, the Isle of Palms and historic downtown Charleston. Be a tourist in your own town and use this great service to explore some of the Lowcountry’s best shopping, dining and historic and recreational attractions. A daily ticket costs just $14.
