David Weekley Homes Receives Top Award For Model Home At Carnes Crossroads
November 23, 2014 | Real Estate
Carnes Crossroads builder David Weekley Homes received several top honors at the 2014 PRISIM Awards, a regional builder industry awards program from the Charleston Home Builders Association. Among the highlights was an award for Weekley’s model home at Carnes Crossroads, which was recognized as the “Best Model Home” in the $350,000-$400,000 range. Completed in 2013, the home is one of four model homes on the Carnes Crossroads model row.
Weekley’s model is based on its Lenwood plan, a 2,300 sq. ft., two-story home with three bedrooms, two and a half baths and a two-car garage. The floor plan features a large open kitchen and living area, a luxurious owner’s retreat on the first floor and a spacious and versatile bonus room. Decorated with bright colors in a coastal style, it’s full of creative ideas for how you can personalize a plan to fit your own style.
Developed in 1988, the PRISM Awards recognize excellence in sales, marketing and new home promotion. Weekley received several additional honors at this year’s awards ceremony, including a “best product” award for its Rivergreen Place Townhomes on Daniel Island, a Green Housing Award and recognition for several marketing campaigns. The company has been building award-winning homes in the Charleston area since 1997.
