Simply Fresh: The Farmers’ Market at Carnes Crossroads
July 7, 2017 | Around Town
Every Tuesday from 3 pm- 6 pm local food and artisan vendors gather at Carnes Crossroads to offer their products to the community. Our Farmers’ Market takes place at the historic Green Barn, conveniently located on North Main Street (Hwy 17A) and 1st Avenue in the heart of our community. This central location makes it a convenient destination for residents throughout Summerville and Goose Creek, and the Green Barn is an open-air venue that is the perfect backdrop for a summer market!
The market offers a diverse range of speciality items to guests. You’ll find everything from handmade dog treats and accessories by Miss Maddie’s to fresh fruits and vegetables from Gruber Family Farm. Regular market vendors also include Pets Wants Charleson, Busy Bee Crafts & Cakes, Trolley Dolly Treats, Carnes Crossroads Artist Cooperative, BR Design and the Clemson Extension Master Gardener’s Program.
Prepared food and treats are also featured at each week’s market. A weekly rotation of food trucks includes local favorites like Boxcar Betty’s fried chicken sandwiches, Dashi’s ramen noodles and many others. A sweet treat option is also available each week from a featured local vendor: King of Pops, Pacific Shaved Ice or Kona Ice.
Check our Calendar of Events for each week’s vendors, featured food truck and sweet treat vendor.
The Farmers’ Market will run until August 29th. We hope to see you there!
